:::ENGLISH VERSION:::
After the amazing success of their album “Bad Story” and sharing the stage with genre heavyweights like Accept, Gotthard, Joe Lynn Turner, Whitesnake, W.A.S.P., Thin Lizzy, UFO, Black Star Riders, Alcatrazz, Gorky Park, Doro Pesch, Royal Hunt, Kingdom Come, Lordi, Grave Digger, and Lake Of Tears, REDS’COOL proved to be the new hopeful rock act from Russia.In its ten tracks their 2011 debut “Attraction” reflected the group’s high professionalism and technical skillfulness. The album was recorded at the band’s own studio Spacex, while mastering was done in Helsinki at Finnvox Studios by Mika Jussila who has been working with such outstanding acts like HIM, Nightwish, Apocalyptica, Lordi, and Children Of Bodom. Before the album release the song “One Night” received extensive airplay on Saint Petersburg’s “Radio Rocks” and stayed on top for several weeks — outshining legendary Whitesnake. In 2013, their second album “Bad Story” was produced and mixed by studio wiz Michael Wagener (Dokken, Accept, Mötley Crüe, Great White, Metallica, Alice Cooper, W.A.S.P., Poison, Stryper, White Lion, etc.). “I must admit, before this gig, my knowledge of Russian rock was limited, bar Gorky Park, who back in the late 80’s were doing their best Bon Jovi impersonation. But thankfully Reds’ Cool, a five piece from St Petersburg, eased my ignorance with an hugely impressive performance. Taking to the stage, the band led by vocalist Slava Spark, looked a tad daunted by the lack of bodies in the venue. But as the masses gathered the band’s mojo grew. Rattling out some hard edged melodic rock tunes like Love & Pain and Bad Story, what looked a formidable task at the beginning ended in glorious triumph.”
